REVIEW | I DEW CARE: Ginger Aide Magic Clay Mask

Hello, Dear! I hope you are feeling as beautiful as you are.

Today, I wanted to share with you my review of the I DEW CARE Ginger Aide, Energizing Ginger Clay Mask. This is one of the five in the Magic Clay Series. This was gifted to me by MEMEBOX when I attended one of their influencer events here in San Francisco.

PRODUCT NAME: Ginger Aide: Energizing Ginger Clay Mask

SIZE: 2.39oz

PRICE: $20

LINK: This is a link to the all 5 of the Clay Masks in a Minis set.

PRODUCT CLAIMS: The Brand claims that this mask is made to "gently cleanse pores, hydrate skin, and brighten the complexion." The key ingredients are the Yellow Clay, Ginger and Kiwi Seeds.

PACKAGING: The product comes in a medium size jar with a twist off cap. I am personally fond of the bright yellow color of the jar because it reminds me of sunshine. :)

SCENT: The mask has a light and fresh smell. Nothing too chemical scented or artificial.

FEEL: The Brand claims that this mask is a jelly-clay hybrid. And it is the consistency truly is soft and comfortable on the skin. The clay has little chunks of "something"

HOW TO: Apply to freshly cleansed and toned skin. Avoid any of your chemical exfoliants on day when you use this product. That could resolve in irritating your skin, causing excessive redness and inflammation. For me, I tend to use a thicker application than most to avoid dehydrating my skin. I apply this on to the skin and wait about 10 to 15 mins. If the mask isn't all the way dry, that's totally okay!

Hop over to the skin to emulsify and rinse the product. Gently massage the mask off the skin until all the product is completely rinsed off!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: When I first smelt this product at the MEMEBOX Event, I recall being like, "I don't like that smell." So this sat on my shelf for awhile until my friend Muriel told me how much she loves it, I caved and tried it.

I am so glad I did! I really enjoy using this mask! It is actually exactly as described; except, it doesn't get deep into the pores around my nose and chin as deeply as I would like. When I have raised congested pores this does the trick, but for any sebaceous filaments (level to my skin) it doesn't have much of an effect.

RATING: 4 / 5

This is a solid mask. I would gladly repurchase this myself, although I'm panicking a little because it's out of stock everywhere...

Thank you to the MEMEBOX Team for providing this as a gift for me. Ya'll are the best.
